DIED.

WILLIAM LUCKEY.

William Luckey, for fifteen years a resident of Grinnell, died at his home on North West street Saturday morning. He was 57 years old. Funeral services were held from the home Sunday at 3 p.m. Rev. G.P. Mitchell was in charge of the ceremonies.

Mr. Luckey's death was caused by a third stroke of paralysis. He had been ill for a long time. During the years of his active life here he was an employe of the Spaulding Manufacturing Company. He was stricken with paralysis first in July, 1912. He worked a little after this time but has been helpless since last July, when he underwent a second stroke. His devoted wife survives him.
