MAURICE PARMENTER DIES IN OREGON

Maurice S. Parmenter, 61, of McMinnville, Ore., died Aug. 22 of a heart attack according to word received in the Grinnell area.

Mr. Parmenter was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Parmenter who lived for many years in the Grinnell and Gilman areas. He had been president of the McMinnville Federal Savings & Loan Association for 20 years.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters; his mother, Mrs. Maude Parmenter; three brothers--Elbert, Harold and Russell Parmenter, and two sisters--Mrs. Grace Webb and Mrs. Norma Drake.

Mr. Parmenter was preceded in death by his father, Marcus Parmenter, and a sister, Edna M. Parmenter, who died in infancy.

Mr. Parmenter was a nephew of Mrs. Howard Hyde and Mrs. Josephine Johnson and a cousin of Paul Worcester.
