ADOLPH FRITZ OF MONTEZUMA ENDS OWN LIFE

Adolph Fritz, aged 74, a long time resident of Montezuma, committed suicide about 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon by hanging himself in an open lumber shed north of the Wisconsin Lumber Company's office in the county seat. Just before he ended his life he purchased a cow halter rope at a harness shop which he used. Coroner O. Dale Smith was summoned but decided that no inquest was necessary. The body will be taken to Geneseo, Ill., for burial March 1. Mr. Fritz had been married twice, both wives preceding him in death. A nephew, Harry Fritz, lives in Des Moines.
