WILMA JONES RITES TODAY

Wilma Mae Jones, 73, of 1216 Second Ave., Grinnell died of a heart ailment Monday noon at Grinnell General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sam Reaves of the Assembly of God Church officiating. Organist will be E.H. Bohstedt, and pallbearers will be Ernest Allen, Michael Dunsbergen, Mark Guthrie, Harvey Marcum, John Sadler, Bob Saunders and Glenn Stewart.

Burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery.

The daughter of John W. and Millie Mae LaGrange Grubb, she was born Dec. 25, 1909, in Grinnell. She attended Grinnell schools, graduating from Grinnell High School in 1928.

She was married to Howard R. Jones on June 22, 1934, at Newton. The couple continued to live in Grinnell. Mrs. Jones was employed by the Morrison-Shults Glove Factory and the Grinnell Shoe Co.

Survivors include her husband and one brother, Douglass Grubb of Grinnell. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Isobaker and Betty Guthrie.
