ASHES OF MRS. EDITH BEYER COGSWELL ARE INTERRED IN GRINNELL

The ashes of the late Mrs. Edith Beyer Cogswell were brought to Grinnell Tuesday from Wadsworth, Ohio, and private burial rites were conducted that afternoon at the Beyer family lot at Hazelwood cemetery beside Mrs. Cogwell's husband, Dr. John Cogswell, who passed away in Ohio about three years ago.

Mrs. Margaret Nicholls and son, Jay, of Wadsworth accompanied the remains to Grinnell. They are daughter and grandson of the deceased, who passed away in Ohio in August, 1953.

As Edith Beyer, Mrs. Cogswell was well known to many residents of Grinnell. She grew to womanhood here, and often visited relatives and friends in this city following her marriage.
