(By a Staff Correspondent)

Kellogg, Ia., Jan. 29, Special:

Mrs. Beth Faircloth, 64, life long resident of this vicinity, died suddenly at her home Wednesday morning at 4:15 of heart trouble.

Mr. Faircloth, who is employed at the Midwest factory, had arisen and made the fire, when she called to ask him the time and said she guessed she might as well get up. She came to the kitchen and remarked that it seemed hard for her to breathe, sank in a rocking chair and passed away.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church Friday afternoon and burial was made in Our Silent City.

Surviving relatives include the husband, a grandson of Earl Faircloth, senior in the local high school, and a brorher, Willard Benson, also of this place.

Lula Florence Benson was born on a farm two miles north of town November 14, 1870. She was united in marriage to Beth Faircloth February 18, 1893, and to this union one son, Earl, was born, who died during the flu epidemic Oct. 25, 1918.
