MRS. FRANK MEIGS

Isabel B. Royce, daughter of George W. and Nellie B. Royce, was born April 20, 1892 and died in Phoenix, Arizona, August 30, 1925.

On March 17, 1917, she was married to Frank P. Meigs of Malcom. To this union two daughters were born, Nellie E. and Mildred J., who with the husband and three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Wheeler, Irma Hargave and Addie B. Hollman, survive her.

In 1919, she had a severe case of the flu, followed by pneumonia, which left her with weakened heart and diseased lungs, from which she never recovered. On July 29 of this year they started for Long Beach, Calif, to his parents, hoping the change might benefit her. Receiving no relief they were advised to try Arizona, arriving in Phoenix Friday, August 28. She passed away Sunday morning, August 30.

She lived her entire life in the vicinity of Malcom, graduating from Malcom High School and was a successful teacher for several years. After her marriage they resided on the farm where her parents began housekeeping.

She was a most devoted wife and mother, always planning for the best interests of her home and family. Besides her immediate family she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn the passing of one so young.
