DEATH OF ROBERT STEELE

Had Lived Here Nearly
Forty Years

Highly Esteemed By Everyone

Taken Sick While On A Pleasure Trip in
the West. His Ernest Desire Was to Reach Home and Be Among Familiar
Surroundings.

Robert Steele, one of the well known residents of Plymouth county, died at his residence a mile south of town Wednesday morning at four o'clock. That the end was near was realized by his family and friends when he returned home last week from a trip in the west. While on a pleasure trip in company with his wife he was taken ill and when he arrived home on Saturday had to be conveyed to his home. Since then he gradually sank, passing away to his reward on Wednesday at an early hour surrounded by his loved ones.

Mr. and Mrs. Steele left their home six weeks ago for a visit with relatives in the western and southwestern states and while in Colorado Springs he was stricken with illness which proved fatal.
