ZENAS P. RUGGLES.

Having attained the ripe old age of 88 years, 11 months and 2 days, Zenas P. Ruggles passed away on Wednesday morning at the home of his son, S.D. Ruggles. After brief services at the house on Thursday morning, conducted by Rev. L.D. Weyand, the body was taken to the old home in Ottawa, Kas., for interment. Mr. and Mrs. S.D. Ruggles accompanied it. At Ottawa, the burial services will be in charge of the Royal Arch Masons, an organization in which the deceased held high rank. He had been a Mason for forty-five years and was past high priest and past master. He had been an Odd Fellow for over sixty years.

Mr. Ruggles was a man of most sunny and lovable character. In spite of his advanced age his mind was quick and bright and he made and kept warm friendships. A genial, kindly spirit has passed away, one which saw the bright side of everything and all who knew him mourn him sincerely.
