HENRIETTA FUDGE

Henrietta Fudge, 79, of Vinton, formerly of Grinnell, died Thursday, April 19, at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Vinton, with the Rev. Grant Jensen officiating. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery, Vinton, with the Phillips Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established.

The daughter of William H. and Angenette Peron, she was born Jan. 15, 1911, in Atlantic. She attended school in Atlantic. She was married to Charlie M.L. Fudge Aug. 25, 1929, in Atlantic.

Mr. and Mrs. Fudge moved to Grinnell in 1944. They moved to Vinton in 1960.

Surviving are a son, Charlie M. of Monticello, Ill.; a daughter, Edna Winsor of Vinton; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandson, four sisters and four brothers.
