HERBERT VAN DOREN, FORMER GRINNELLIAN, DIES IN FLORIDA

Herbert E. Van Doren, 83, former Grinnellian, died early Friday, Jan. 31st, at Lakeland, Fla., where he had resided since 1952 with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Van Doren, also former Grinnell residents.

Services were conducted Feb. 1st and burial was in Lakeland Memorial Gardens.

He was born at Pella on May 11th, 1880, but had resided in Grinnell for many years before moving to Florida.

His wife and an infant daughter preceded him in death.
