MARJORIE GILLIAND DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Mrs. Marjorie Gilliand, wife of Hugh Gilliand Jr. of San Ramon, Calif., died suddenly May 28. She was 33 years old.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rhinehart of Brooklyn, she was born in Poweshiek County and attended Brooklyn schools. She and her husband had lived in California for about six years.

She is survived by her husband; her parents; her mother-and-father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Gilliand Sr. of Grinnell; her children, Debbie, 12, Rick, 10, and Susan, 4; and brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gilliand were held Tuesday, June 2, in San Ramon. Burial was also in California.
