ARLENE MCMURRY

Arlene McMurry, 54, of 1823 Sunset St., Grinnell, died of leukemia Tuesday, March 12, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday at the Randolph Funeral Home in Corydon, with Carol Wehr officiating. Pallbearers were Clarence Cogley, Bob Vogt, Melvin Stoker, Kent Rasmussen, Reggie Wells and Paul Pohlson. Burial was in Corydon Cemetery.

A memorial has been established with the Powell 3 Nursing Unit at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Mrs. McMurry was a 1960 graduate of Seymour Commuity High School. She was married to Clifford McMurray in April 1961. They farmed in Wayne County until 1985 when they moved to Grinnell. Mrs. McMurry worked at Ramsey-Weeks Insurance here until 1994.

She is survived by her husband; one son, Tracy of Seymour; one daughter, Teresa of Dallas Center, her parents; one brother, Randal Couchman of Perry; and her grandmother, Iva Couchman of Corydon.
