MRS. WILLIAM TURNBULL

Miss Margaret G. Turnbull was born in Elmira, Ill., on the 30th day of August, 1855. She was united in marriage to William Turnbull in 1876 and soon after they moved to Rock Creek township and began housekeeping on the farm on which they have since resided.

She was devoted to her family and to her friends and was ever ready to render assistance to any one in need. "If there ever was a good woman" says an intimate friend, "she was one."

Mrs. Turnbull was the first of a family of twelve children to be taken away, one of whom, her brother James Turnbull, resided with her. Her mother also survives and was present at the funeral.

After an illness lasting two years through which she was a great though patient sufferer she died Friday morning, November 6, leaving besides those of her father's family her husband and a daughter, Bertha L. to mourn the loss of a beloved wife and mother.

Funeral services were conducted from the house at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon by the Rev. W.W. Woodburn of the United Presbyterian church.
