FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR LORENA BILLINGS

Funeral services were held Jan. 2 in Centerville, Iowa for Mrs. Lorena Bilings, 56, who died in Denver, Colo., Dec. 29, at the Cancer Research Clinic.

Mrs. Billings had lived most of her life in Grinnell, but the last five years of her life she had lived in Centerville.

The daughter of James Cullen and Lily Woner Upchurch, Mrs. Billings was born June 3, 1913 at Newburg, Iowa. On Jan. 23, 1938, she was married to Jesse N. Billings at Chester Community Church near Grinnell. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1959.

Mrs. Billings had been employed as a bookkeeper in Centerville and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Lewis A. (Jolee) Fraterelli of Denver, Colo.; three grandsons, and one sister, Mrs. C.J. Hart of Centerville.

Burial was in Chester Cemetery north of Grinnell.
