RITES HELD FOR RUTH CHARLIER

Ruth Marie Charlier, 54, Story City, sister of Helen Renaud, died of an apparent heart attack Sunday at her home.

Services were held Wednesday afternoon at Grace United Methodist Church in Story City with burial in the cemetery there.

She was born in Poweshiek County and had lived in Melbourne and New Providence before moving to Story City.

Survivors include her husband John; three daughters Barbara M. Meyer, Newton, Marjorie Charlier, Chicago, Ill., and R. Renee Amenson, Kingsland, Ga.; two sons, James, Tallahassee, Fla., and Bruce, Berwick; her mother, Marie Miller, Gilman; four sisters, Dorothy Lanning, Marshalltown; Margaret Williams, Hudson; Wilma Smith, Gilman; and Mrs. Renaud; and four grandchildren.
