OBITUARY.

ASA HARLOW CHASE

Asa Harlow Chase was born at Benedict Corners, N.Y., Aug. 3, 1846, and died May 10, 1917 at 12 o'clock noon.

Deceased was twice married, first to Anna L. Steward, Sep. 14, 1865, to which union were born nine children, four of whom have died. After the death of Mrs. Chase in 1901, on Sep. 23, 1916, he married Mrs. Carrie Nicoll, of this city.

Mr. Chase was a member of the M.E. church, also of the G.A.R., being a member of the 69th N.Y. At the outbreak of the Civil war he enlisted, serving until discharged by sickness.

At home he was kind, considerate, helpful. In business he was honest, ambitious and industrious.

He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, two sons, three daughters and many friends.
