HANS SIEHL SERVICES HELD

Hans H. Siehl, 95, of Montezuma died Sunday morning, Feb. 20, at the Senior Home in Montezuma.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Steffy Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Darlington of the United Methodist Church officiating. Music was provided by Alice Underwood. Pallbearers were Elmer Luttman, Floyd Luttman, Merle Harris, Farrel Siehl, Bert Barnes and Walter Barnes.

Burial was at Montezuma.

The son of Hans and Mary Kroeger Siehl, he was born March 18, 1887, near Grinnell. He was married to Inez Fuller of Gilman in 1934. Mr. Siehl farmed near Gilman for several years, later moving to a farm in the Montezuma area. After retiring, he and his wife moved to Montezuma, where Mrs. Siehl died in 1968.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Lorene Dimit and Patricia Arvidson, both of Covina, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Inez; four sisters, Della McKay, Kate Siehl, Anna Luttman and Jessie King; and one brother, John Siehl.
