LOUIS H. FULLER

Louis H. Fuller, 87, of 1511 Eleventh Ave., Grinnell, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, at Friendship Manor.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Wallace, pastor of the Newburg-Chester Parish, officiating, organist was Susan Fuller, and vocalists were Debra and Melissa Fuller.

Pallbearers were his grandsons, Dean, Douglas, Jeffrey, Thomas, Christopher, Chad, Bradley and Jamison Fuller. Honorary bearers were his granddaughters, Diane Kempter, Sally Mortenson, Nancy Coursey, Deborah Miller, Mary Fuller, Carrie Draves, Lori Ehrke and Kirsten Fuller.

Graveside services were conducted at the Jackson Township Cemetery near Owasa.

Memorials may be made to the Chester Church and sent in care of the Smith Funeral Home.

The son of Arthur and Mollie Starr Fuller, he was born Oct. 13, 1902, near Popejoy. He attended rural school and later attended school at Owasa.

He was married to Edna Hoag June 2, 1926, at Eldora. Following their marriage he managed cooperative elevators at Reasnor and Kennedy Station. The family lived in Iowa Falls, McCallsburg and Boulder, Colo., before moving to a farm north of Grinnell in 1948. Mr. Fuller retired from farming in 1964 and moved to Grinnell.

He was a member of the Chester Church and the Sonora Grange.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Arthur B. of Atlanta, Ga., Wallace H. of Maxwell, Louis K. of Brookfield, Wis., Michael J. of Oxford, Ohio, and Charles L. of Columbus, Wis.; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Edward, Benjamin and Paul; and one sister, Eloise Carpenter.
