REYNOLD G. GRELL

Reynold George Grell, Fort Morgan, Colo., formerly of Grinnell, died Satuday, May 26, in Columbus Hospital, Columbus, Neb.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 30, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Holstein, with burial in the cemetery there.

He was born Sept. 21, 1922, the son of Minnie and William Grell. He served in the United States Army in World War II and on Feb. 12, 1947, was married to Bette Gehrts. They farmed from 1947 to 1964 in northwest Iowa and moved to Grinnell in 1964 when he was employed by Cargill Seeds, moving to Fort Morgan to continue working for Cargill until his retirement in 1982.

He was a member of the American Legion, the Elks, Toastmasters, AARP and the Cargill Hi Club.

He is survived by his wife, Bette of Fort Morgan; five daughters Jeanette Gaylord, Davenport; Elaine Stevenson and Patricia Martens, Quimby; Pamela Pierce, Madison, Wis., and Debra Sears, Grinnell, and one son Michael Grell, Columbus, Neb.; 16 grandchildren and one sister Darlene Juelfs.
