G.A. (RINK) SEARS DIES IN DES MOINES

G.A. (Rink) Sears, a former Grinnell resident, passed away Wednesday night.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Dunn Funeral Home in Des Moines.

Survivors include his wife, Lela; one daughter, Helen, who lives in Tennessee; one son, Ward of Chicago, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Sears was born in Grinnell Oct. 29, 1885, and was raised here. He and his family lived in Des Moines the past several years. He was an active member of the Methodist church.
