JOHN WM. TIMBRELL
John Wm. Timbrell was born in Berkley, England, Dec. 18, 1853, and died at his home, 501 West street, on March 5, 1916.
He had lived in Grinnell fifteen years, and was esteemed and respected by all who knew him.
Suffering for five months, but always hoping for the best, for he loved to live in this beautiful world, he gave up his life at the dawn of a new day with just a sigh, for he had gone to his loved ones before him.
He was laid to rest Tuesday afternoon at Hazelwood cemetery. A wife and three children are left to mourn, but "Thy will be done," and we will abide by Thee.
The rest in the grave will be sweet,
When life's weary toil is o'er;
The busy and tired feet
Will be busy and tired no more;
And praising sweet it will be
The rest of an aching heart,
Its wearisome throbbings are evermore
ceased--
The signal's been seen to depart.
