SERVICES IN PASADENA FOR MRS. H.G. SUTTON

Memorial services were held in Pasadena, Calif., for Mrs. Henry G. Sutton, formerly of Montezuma, who died March 4. Dr. Wesley Ford, Mrs. Sutton's pastor at Pasadena's First Christian Church, presided. Burial was beside her husband in Mountain View Cemetery, Pasadena.

Mrs. Sutton, (Rilla Jane Reynolds,) was born July 5, 1877 in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. She and her husband, the late Henry G. Sutton, farmed and operated a general merchandise store in Kentucky until they moved to Montezuma in 1909. In 1918 they moved to Chester and operated the Chester Center Store until they moved to Pasadena in 1936.

Mrs. Sutton is survived by five children: Miss Grace Sutton, Montezuma; Mr. Beckham Sutton, Grinnell; Mrs. Roy (Fannie) Rempp, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Frank (Beatrice) Lizzio, Pasadena; and Mrs. William (Hazel) Jones, Whittier, Calif. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Ed (Bessie) Gooch, New Sharon; 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
