MRS. SUSAN L. CRITCHETT

February twentieth, 1914, at the residence of her son, Geo. B. Critchett, Mrs. Susan L. Critchett passed away, aged eighty-six years, eight months and twenty-four days.

Susan Lasher was born in Fulton County, New York, May 28th, 1827. She was married in Syracuse, N.Y., to Otis H. Critchett on October 25th, 1848. Two children were born to this union, Geo. B. and Harriet Eliza, the latter dying in infancy.

She moved with her husband to Iowa County, Iowa, in the winter of 1864. Her husband died November 13th, 1892, since which time she has resided with her son, Geo. B.

She has been a resident of Grinnell for the past five years and was a member of the Congregational church.

Funeral was held from the residence, Rev. P.F. Marston, officiating. Burial was in Hazelwood.
