MRS. JOHN N. ANDREWS DIES ON SUNDAY

Mrs. John N. Andrews, long time resident of Grinnell and vicinity, died Sunday, April 5, 1936 at one o'clock at her home, 520 Main street. She had been a patient sufferer from paralysis for 4 years.

Rhoda Adams was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Adams and spent most of her girlhood on the farm south of Grinnell. She was born near Kewanee, Ill., September 21, 1872, and came to Iowa with her parents at the age of two years. She was married on January 5, 1910, to John N. Andrews and they have lived all their married life in and near Grinnell. She was a member of Rebekah lodge and had been a member of the Methodist church for many years.

She is survived by her husband and ten brothers and sisters, Alma Adams, Mrs. Croft Sparks, Mrs. Delilah Brown, Charles, David, Ed and Bert of Grinnell, Walter of Malcom, Mrs. Wm. Watson of Newton and O.B. Adams of Des Moines, besides numerous other relatives.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Methodist church conducted by the Rev. Charles R. Rowe. Burial will be in Hazelwood cemetery.
