KELLOGG MAN'S FUNERAL TODAY

Nels Buck, for the past 55 years a resident of Kellogg and well known in Grinnell, died at his home Saturday evening at 11:15 o'clock following a two weeks' illness. He suffered a paralytic stroke while out walking May 3 and failed to recover. He had been in failing health for the past winter. He celebrated his seventy-seventh birthday Nov. 3 of last year.

Funeral services were held from the Christian church this afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. W.B. Wilson of Newburg, a former pastor, officiating.

Preceding him in death were his *wife and one daughter and he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W.T. Parsons of Malcom, Ia., and Mrs. S.F. Hartwig of Kellogg; one granddaughter, Mrs. E.C. Starrett of Newton; one great-grandson, John Parsons Starrett of Newton; four nephews, three of them in Denmark and the fourth, Carl Paulson in Brooklyn; and one niece in Denmark.
