WM. ASHING DIES AT HOME NEAR SEARSBORO

Searsboro, Ia., Jan. 8, Special:

William Ashing who was born and raised on a farm east of Searsboro, was stricken with apoplexy and passed away Friday night. His sister, Lucretia Ashing, went to Marshalltown Saturday and returned with the body Saturday night. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at West Liberty church, burial in the West Liberty cemetery.

His two sisters, Lucretia and *Tabitha, are left to mourn the loss of their only brother.
