KELLOGG MAN DIES; BURIAL TO BE FRIDAY

Andrew Zondervan, 76, longtime resident of the Kellogg community, died Wednesday morning at a local hospital after an extended illness.

Funeral services for Mr. Zondervan will be from the Methodist church at Kellogg on Friday afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. Grace Anderson in charge. Burial will be in Mount Zion cemetery.

Mr. Zondervan was born in Marion county, April 20, 1878 but while an infant has moved with his family near Monroe. He operated a farm near Kellogg from 1913 until ill health forced him to retire and move to Kellogg in 1924.

He was married to Nellie Hayes in Reasnor, Sept. 23, 1903.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Agnes Irene Zondervan, a school teacher at Waterloo; a son, Charles, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Carter of Iowa City and Mrs. Emma Coulter of Williston, N.D.; and three brothers, George of Altadena, Calif.; Peter of North Hollywood, Calif.; and Frank of Des Moines.
