MRS. VINALL DIES ON SHOPPING TRIP; FUNERAL HELD TODAY

Kellogg--Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Vinall, 65, lifelong resident of Kellogg, were held here this (Thursday) afternoon at the Christian church.

Suffering a heart attack in downtown Marshalltown while shopping Monday, Mrs. Vinall died at 7:30 p.m. in an ambulance while en route to a hospital.

Mrs. Vinall is survived by three sons, Roy A. Vinall of Minneapolis, Minn., Anson W. Vinall of Webster City and Arthur Vinall of Grafton, N.Y., five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Warren Bailey and Mrs. Birdie Anderson of Grinnell and Mrs. Edith Brooke of North English; and two brothers, Harold Hanson and Arthur Hanson, both of Grinnell.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dale, and her husband John W. Vinall,, who died in 1948.

A member of the Kellogg Christian church, Mrs. Vinall was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Kellogg Garden club and the Amboy Grange.

The daughter of Lars and Hannah Hanson, she was born June 29, 1888 on a farm near Kellogg. She attended Kellogg schools and prior to her marriage to John W. Vianll in Kellogg Dec. 8, 1909, taught rural school in the Kellogg neighborhood.
