BURDETTE G. FARLEY

Burdette G. Farley, 80, of Grinnell, formerly of Malcom, died Monday, Jan. 12, at St. Francis Manor.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. John Reynolds, pastor of Malcom Presbyterian Church, officiating. Casket bearers were Tim Morrison, Patrick Morrison, Greg Diffor, Bob Gorsuch, Dave Gorsuch and Craig Morrison. Burial was in Jackson Township Cemetery in Montezuma. Memorials may be made to the Malcom Presbyterian Church Stained Glass Windows Fund, c/o Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368 Grinnell.

He is survived by his wife Beverly of Grinnell; four daughters, Julie Anderson of Malcom, Kathleen Gorsuch and Susan Morrison of Montezuma and Deborah Hansch of Davenport; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Nellie Blakley Farley.
