ELMER GANNON FUNERAL RITES HELD AT BROOKLYN

Funeral services were held this morning at St. Patrick's church in Brooklyn for Elmer Gannon, 79, who died suddenly Friday of a heart ailment. Burial was at Calvary cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Rose, two sons, Father Charles Gannon of Ft. Madison and Lawrence of Cedar Rapids, two daughters, Sister Charla and Sister Lauris, both teachers at Onawa, Ill., and one grandchild.

A salesman for the New York Life Insurance Company, Mr. Gannon had lived in the Brooklyn area for more than 40 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at Victor and a member of the Foresters society of St. Patrick's church in Brooklyn.
