Obituary; dated Jan. 6, 1922

A DOUBLE FUNERAL

William J., and James Wilhite, brothers aged 77 and 72 respectively, were buried at Deep River Tuesday, January 3, Rev. J.L. Tennant, of West Liberty, conducting the funeral services. James Wilhite, who has been living in Cedar Rapids the past two years was called to the bedside of his brother in Deep River on Christmas day but preceding him in death, dying Thursday of heart trouble while his elder brother lived until Saturday. William Wilhite is survived by a wife, five sons and two daughters, while his brother James is survived by two sons, his wife having passed away December 26, 1920, in Deep River.
