Funeral Services To Be Held Tomorrow Morning at 10:30 from Home.
--------------------------------William Grant Pugh was born in West Virginia on June 5, 1864 and passed away Wednesday evening, Feb. 13, at 9:00 o'clock of heart trouble after an illness of about a week.
When he was two months old his family moved to a farm south of Lynnville, where he grew to manhood. In 1890 he moved to Grinnell and two years following that *married Hannah L. Lee. To this union were born six children one dying in infancy and another, Dawson Pugh, dying at Camp Cody, Deming, N.Mex., in Sept. 1918, while he was training in the U.S. Military camp. Four are living, Maude, Paul, Ruby and Roy, who are living near Grinnell. Two brothers of Mr. Pugh are also left. They are Walter Pugh of Kansas City and Charles Pugh of Des Moines.
Mr. Pugh was a retired farmer and lived here at 923 West street. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and belonged to the Sunday school class of R.G. Coutts. Many friends of Mr. Pugh are sorely grieved by his death.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the home at 923 West street, Rev. W.J. Todd, conducting. Burial will be at Hazelwood.
