JOSEPH FRY DIES IN MONTEZUMA
Joseph Willis Fry of Des Moines, aged 72 years, died Saturday afternoon at four o'clock at the hospital in Montezuma following an illness of three months. He was taken to the hospital there two weeks ago. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. D. Gregson of Montezuma, Mrs. John Keefner of Des Moines, Mrs. Edna Allspaugh of Pasadena, Calif., and a brother, J.S. Fry of Des Moines. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Union Mills Christian church, of which he was a member, with the Rev. E.M. Gregson, pastor of the Little Mount Baptist church west of Montezuma in charge of the services. Mr. Fry grew to manhood in the Union Mills neighborhood. Interment was made in the Union Mills cemetery.
