NOAH HALTERMAN WAS BURIED TODAY

Noah Halterman, aged 25 years, died Monday morning at St. Francis Hospital of blood poison which devloped from a boil on his temple. He is survived by his wife and two small children and many relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon from the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. W.J. Todd. Interment was in Hazelwood cemetery.

Noah Hunter Halterman, son of Noah W. and Dora B. Halterman was born March 14, 1899, at Danville, Mo., and died Dec. 1 at 12:40 o'clock A.M.

At the age of two years he came with his parents to Grinnell where he has lived since.

He attended the Methodist Sunday school here and also the public schools.

He was married March 15, 1921 to Florence Ellen Sparks and to this union were born two children, Ellen Aileen and Freda May.

Besides his wife and babies, he leaves his mother, Dora B. and nine brothers and sisters, Mrs. J.T. Simpson, Duey Halterman, Mrs. Harve Smith, Mrs. George Roe, Claude Halterman and Ruth, Louise, and Dolly, at home. They all live in Grinnell. He has several half-brothers and sisters, among them Charley Halterman of Grinnell, together with many other relatives and friends who will miss him.

He was always thoughtful of his parents and was a good husband and father.
