FORMER RESIDENT OF GRINNELL DIES MARCH 2 IN OAKLAND, CALIF.

Word has been received of the death of a former Grinnell resident, Mrs. Jessie Schuyler Heald, Mar. 2nd in Oakland, Calif.

Funeral services were held Mar. 5th and interment was in Pomona (Calif.) cemetery.

Born in Grinnell on Sept. 2nd, 1876, she was graduated from the Grinnell School of Music in 1899. She moved to California and after the death of Mr. Schuyler, returned to Grinnell with her son to live with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Harriman. In 1929, she again moved to California.

She lived in Pomona and San Dimas, Calif., for several years and for the last five years had made her home in Oakland, Calif.

Survivors include a son, Clare H. Schuyler of Oakland; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Kenneth Goodham of Bellflower, Calif.; a brother, Dr. Raymond D. Harriman of Stanford University; a sister, Mrs. George A. Earhart of Ontario; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
