ARTHUR HEMINOVER FUNERAL SERVICES HELD HERE TUESDAY

Funeral services for Arthur Heminover, 76, who passed away at a lcoal hospital Saturday, were held Tuesday afternoon at Smith funeral home, conducted by the Rev. C.E. Kingsley, pastor of the First Baptist church. Organ selections were played by Mrs. Rhee Auman.

Burial was at Yorktown, Ill., Wednesday afternoon.

OBITUARY

Arthur P. Heminover, son of David B. and Levina Heminover, was born May 24, 1877, in Ottawa, Ill. He grew to young manhood in this pioneer home and became interested in farming, coming to northern Iowa about the turn of the century.

He was married in Wesley, Iowa, Nov. 7, 1901, to Anna Nelson and farmed in that vicinity till 1917 when he moved with his family back to his native state of Illinois.

Six children were born to the home. Two preceding their father in death. Mrs. Heminover passed away in 1926 and is buried in Yorktown, Ill.

Heminover came to Grinnell about 19 years, retiring from active farming, and has lived here since. As a retired citizen, he worked at various tasks and maintained his home at 1003 Pearl street.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Grace Catlett, Melrose Park, Ill.; three sons, Ray of Chicago, Edward of Dolton, Ill., and Arthur of Boone, 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two brothers, Lester in Wisconsin and William of California. Many nieces, and nephews and friends.
