FUNERAL OF FRANK M. BURTON OF DES MOINES

The funeral of Frank M. Burton was held Wednesday at ten o'clock from the funeral parlors of Snyder Brothers. The service was conducted by Rev. Dr. Bolt, pastor of the Congregational church. Music was by Mrs. E.B.T. Spencer and Mrs. R.T. Bouma. Pallbearers were Dr. E.B. Wiley, Glenn Anderson, W.J. Neely, W.G. Ray, H.E. Pringle.

Mr. Burton was born in Grinnell in 1871. Aside from about four years in South Dakota his early life was spent in Grinnell.

In the nineties he served as deputy county clerk under Captain Phillips.

After that he moved to Des Moines and there he has kept his residence for nearly thirty years.

In more recent years he was much interested in interior decoration and his time was given up to that subject.

Mr. Burton was a thirty-second degree Mason, a member of Kaaba Temple, Des Moines.

Several members of the Des Moines chapter were present at the funeral. Burial was in the Burton lot in Hazelwood.
