FRIDAY SERVICES SCHEDULES FOR MISS KATE SIEHL

Miss Kate Siehl, 81, of Grinnell,, died early Tuesday morning at a local hospital, follwing an illness of the past week.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Laverne Streich, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church, officiating. Organ music will be provided by Mrs. Kathleen Heffner.

In charge of flowers will be Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Anderson. Pallbearers will be Floyd Luttman, Elmer Luttman, Merle Harris, Keith Park, Farrell Siehl, and Wes McKay. Interment will be in Hazelwood cemetery.

Born Oct. 15th, 1880, at Bluegrass, Scott county, Iowa, she was the daughter of Hans and Mary Kroeger Siehl. At an early age she moved with her family to the farm west of Grinnell, and attended the local rural schools.

Later, she made her home with the late Harry McMurrays in Grinnell for over 40 years.

Survivors include two brothers, Hans Siehl of Montezuma and John Siehl of Grinnell; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Luttman, Jesse King, and Della McKay; and several brothers in infancy.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.
