RITES HELD FOR MRS. LOGSDON

Edna Nevada Logsdon, 53, of 1006 Fairfield Ave., Grinnell, died Tuesday evening at Grinnell General Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Philip Ramstad, pastor of the United Church of Christ-Congregational, officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Willard Heffner, organist, and Mrs. Wayne Dayton, vocalist.

Cremation followed the services.

The daughter of Clifton and Nina Hawkins Neal, she was born July 9, 1923, at Des Moines. She attended school in that city.

On Sept. 21, 1946, she was married to Lane Logsdon at Troy, Kan. The couple had one son. Following their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Logsdon lived in Des Moines and Iowa City before moving to Grinnell. Mrs. Logsdon was employed as a housekeeper for the Switzer Motel for several years.

Survivors include her husband, Lane; her son, Terry Logsdon of Plymouth, Mich.; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
