ALMA COUNTY SERVICES HELD

Funeral services for Mrs. Sidney L. County, the former Alma Rickard, were held July 24 in Colorado Springs, Colo. Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colorado Springs.

Mrs. County had been in poor health the past eight years and died of a heart attack July 19 while attending church services with her husband.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Colorado Springs and the Navy Mothers' Club.

She was born Nov. 16, 1910, in Grinnell, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. Rickard. She was a graduate of Grinnell High School. Since 1945 she had lived in Colorado Springs. She was married to Mr. County Jan. 11, 1962.

Survivors include her husband; her two sons, Robert D. Turner of Colorado Springs and Chief Petty Officer Kenneth W. Turner of Oak Harbor, Wash.; two stepsons, Tom County of Colorado Springs and Jim County of Crete, Neb.; a stepdaughter, Sydra County of Colorado Springs; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph R. Rickard of Sprague River, Ore., and Glenn E. Rickard of Tustin, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. L.A. (Maurine) Dimond and Mrs. Hilliard (Eldora) Turner Sr., both of Grinnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, and a sister, Rose.
