She retired from that position June 30, 1961, when she and her husband moved to El Paso, Texas, and divided their time between El Paso and Estes Park. She moved to Loveland from Estes Park in 1981.

Mrs. Lemley for many years was secretary of the Iowa Branch of the National Association of Postal Supervisors.

She is survived by two brothers, E.W. "Pete" Edwards of Vista, Calif., and Ben F. Edwards of Benton, Ill. A niece, Betty Ashby, lives in Newton.
