At Ray, Minn.Alice Tish Wolfe, Ray, Minn., was born on a farm south of Grinnell Oct. 1, 1901, and died in the University hospital at Minneapolis, Jan 3. She was a daughter of W. P. and Bell Tish and her childhood days were spent in Poweshiek and Mahaska counties on farms near New Sharon and Fremont.
She married Marvin Wolfe of Fremont on April 6, 1922. To this union five children were born, three preceding their mother in death. Surviving children are Mrs. Minnie Frances Immel, Concord, Calif., and Jack Wolfe, Ray. Her husband, Marvin Wolfe of the home; two brothers, Harry Tish, Swea City, Iowa, and Tracey Tish, Santa Monica, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Wolfe, Fremont; Mrs. Doris Wilsterman, Grinnell; Mrs. Nellie Thompson, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Winnie Smith, Franklin Park, Ill. A brother, Walter Tish, was killed in a rock quarry accident at Ames in 1958.
She was a member of the Mission church and an active worker in it. Funeral services were held at the church Jan. 6 and burial was at Ray.
