ESPER LANDTISER, FORMER POWESHIEK RESIDENT, SUCCUMBS

A former Poweshiek county resident, Esper Landtiser, 54, of Pico Rivera, Calif., died Sunday evening at his home following a heart attack.

He had spent his early life in the Brooklyn area and was a graduate of Brooklyn high school. He was married to the former Kathryn Eisele, daughter of the late Grover Eisele.

Survivors include his widow and two children, Sherry and Larry, all of the family home. An aunt, Mrs. Josephine Schneekloth, resides at Malcom.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Whittier, Calif.
