MRS. HOLLER'S RITES HELD WEDNESDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Holler, 87, were held Wednesday afternoon at First United Presbyterian church. Officiating was the Rev. G.H. Hulsebus of Ft. Dodge, former Brooklyn pastor, assisted by George W. Roquet, pastor. Mrs. Ed Bartachek was organist.

Burial was at Ottumwa with Hugh Montgomery, Warren Carpenter, Randolph Roudabush, Burdette Farley, Kendall Andrews and Harley Burch serving as pallbearers. In charge of flowers were Mrs. Randolph Roudabush and Grace Middlemas.

Mrs. Holler died Sunday evening in an Oskaloosa hospital where she had undergone surgery on a broken hip last week. For several weeks previously she had beeen living in a nursing home at Oskaloosa.

Mrs. Holler had been a Brooklyn resident for 44 years. Her husband, the Rev. E.W.F. Holler and former Brooklyn pastor, died August 28 with funeral services held here Monday of last week.

The daughter of Mary A. and Asberry W. Jackson, Maude Rowena as born January 18, 1877. On May 23 1900, she was married at Fairfield to Edward William Farris Holler. Before coming to Brooklyn in 1920, she and her husband had lived at Purcell, Okla., Litchfield, Ill., Martinsburg, Ottumwa and New London.

Mrs. Holler was a member of the U.P.W. of the Presbyterian church and Chapter AK, P.E.O.
