MRS. ROBISON LIVED A LIFE OF SERVICE

Julia Ann Woomer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Woomer was born on a farm east of Grinnell, October 9, 1870. She passed away at the St. Francis Hospital November ? 1924.

She spent her girlhood days in and around Grinnell, teaching school and helping at home.

On December 8, 1897 she was married to Arthur Robison. To this union were born five children, Glenn, Howe, Claire and the twins, Willis and Willard. Glenn, and Willis, one of the twins, preceded her in death.

She began to fail in health the latter part of May 1924.

All was done for her that medical care and loving hands could do. Her suffering was almost unbearable at times, but she was always patient and cheerful, thinking more of the comfort of her family than of herself. She realized her condition and prayed to be taken to her Heavenly home.

She was a loving wife and mother, a good neighbor and will be greatly missed by the entire community.

Besides her immediate family she leaves one brother, Charles Woomer of Bradley, S. Dak., and one sister, Mrs. Charles Cratty, of Grinnell, besides hosts of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. W.J. Todd of the Methodist church, were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home, six miles west of Grinnell. Interment was in Hazelwood.
