RITES TUESDAY FOR MRS. WALDBUSSER

Minnie Waldbusser, 84, of 1010 Prairie St., died Saturday morning at Grinnell General Hospital following an extended illness.

The daughter of Andrew and Elsa Marie Larsen, she was born Sept. 19, 1888, at Herring, Denmark, and received her education in Denmark and came to the Untied States as a young girl. She was married to John Waldbusser on Feb. 27, 1909, in Grinnell and since their marriage they had farmed in the Grinnell and Kellogg communities for 60 years. In 1968 they moved to Grinnell. They were both charter members of the Victor Grange and were members for over 50 years.

She is survived by her husband John; a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Mary) Taylor of Grinnell; three grandchildren, John Taylor of Newton, James Taylor of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Mrs. Andrew (Janice) Larkin of Bellevue, Neb.; three great-grandchildren, Scott, Sarah and Marilee all of Newton; two sisters, Anna and Tena, and a brother Carl, all of Denmark. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Fred in August of 1967, and two sisters and a brother.

Services for Mrs. Waldbusser will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the James-Schalinske Funeral Home. Elder C.D. Talbert of Blakesburg, Iowa, will officiate. Vocalists are Mrs. Leo Rolfe and Elder C.D. Talbert. Organist is Mrs. Donald J. Renaud. Serving on the flower committee are Mrs. Claire Jackson and Mrs. Lawrence Decatur. Pallbearers are Henry Hauersperger, Henry Lauber, Ramon Gruhn, Adolph Altemeier, Lester Adkins and Lawrence Decatur. Burial will be in the Rock Creek Cemetery.
