SYLVIA KISSOCK FUNERAL SERVICES SET HERE FRIDAY

Mrs. Sylvia Sloan Kissock, 75, of Portland, Ore., died suddenly Saturday evening at the home of a daughter in Portland.

Born in Poweshiek county near Grinnell, she was one of a family of 17 children. She left Grinnell many years ago to live in Portland near her daughter, Mrs. Thelma Tussell.

In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a brother who resides at Marshalltown.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Cravan, pastor of the Oak Grove Friends church, officiating. Burial will be in Upper Blue Point cemetery. Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home on Thursday and Friday.
