FRANK STARR OF LYNNVILLE PASSES

Lynnville, Ia., Oct. 25. Special:

Lee Starr received word Thursday of the sudden death of his brother Frank at the home of his sister, Mrs. Dora Peters, in Billings, Montana. Funeral services were held from the church Sunday afternoon.

Frank Starr, son of Benson and Ellen Starr, was born near Searsboro, Dec. 26, 1878, and died Oct. 20, 1932, at Billings, Mont. When less than a year old he moved with his parents to the Starr farm near Lynnville. During 1894 he moved to Villisca living there 9 months, then moving to Council Bluffs, and in 1924 came to Lynnville, living in Lynnville till the summer of 1932, when he went to live with his sister, Mrs. Dora Peters. Mr. Starr was preceded in death by his father and mother, also brother and sister.

He is survived by a brother, Lee Starr of Lynnville, and a sister, Mrs. Dora Peters of Billings, Mont., also by five nephews: Harold Starr of California, Earl Starr of Gilman, James Peters, Forest Peters and Ernest Peters, and two nieces, Mary Goodman and Praiso Hipsley.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Giles Youngquist Sunday afternoon from the church. Music was furnished by Charles Potter, Mrs. Leo Davis, Mrs. Harvey Gause and Harlan Meredith, with Miss Mary Gause at the piano. Pall bearers were Ray Sparks, Mose Sparks, Ollie Quaintance, E.O. Gause, John Wisgerhof and Chas. Briggs. Burial was in the family lot in the Swan cemetery. Those from out of town were Mrs. Dora Peters and son Ernest Peters of Billings, Mont.; Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Starr of Newton, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Starr of Gilman.
