MRS. ERIK ERIKSEN

Mrs. Erik Eriksen was born at Princeton, Ill., and passed away at her home April 18 after an illness of two months of Bright's disease. Caroline Ahrens was married to Erik Eriksen March 14, 1878, and to this union were born six children. One died in infancy. Besides the husband five chidlren are left to mourn the loss of a beloved wife and dear mother. They are Henry W., Edward M., and Dr. Lana Eriksen of Grinnell and Mrs. F.M. Frederickson and Mrs. Paul Hewitt of Des Moines. There are also four grand children, Marie and Paul Eriksen and Paul Jr., and Jean Caroline Hewitt and three sisters Mrs. Augusta Mehlin of Grinnell, Mrs. Chas. Appleby of Malcom and Mrs. Claus Lundt of Payette, Idaho. All were present at the funeral excepting Mrs. Claus Lundt.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mrs. Retta Becker and son Fred of Princeton, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Eriksen of Brooklyn, Ia., Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Eriksen of Cedar Falls, Erik H. Eriksen, Mrs. John Osness, and Mrs. Hans Tokle of Clear Lake, Rev. Ed Iverson of Chippewa Falls, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Will Dee and Mrs. Randall of Tama, Mrs. Anna Wang of Brooklyn and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schultz of Reasnor.
